Isn't Chill useful for every build?

I’m about to pick between 141 endurance threshold or 52% chill chance blessing for my 2H Void Knight. I was thinking about endurance threshold but 52% chill chance sounds super strong. It should be about 40+% Total speed slow (Stacks are multiplicitive with themselves) against bosses the entire time you’re fighting.

What do you guys think?

Yes, chill is useful for every build.

But chill stacks are not multiplicative with each other.
Its just 3x 12% less attack/cast/movement speed = 36%

But it says “including other stacks of Chill” in its description.

Yes you are right, to be honest I never really tested it, because its also very hard to test.

Usually things that stack are always additive with each other and only multiplicative with other sources.

But if its multiplicative or not does not really matter in this case anyway.

Chill is universally very useful and good. For some bosses its crazy usefull and for others its okish or useless. Overall still valueable.

Odd, that’s not what Chill - Last Epoch Ailments says.

Check in game tooltip.

That’s where Dammitt gets his stuff from.

I dont know how else i can tell you. Go read the in game tooltip lol.

Nothing mentions being multiplicative there.

However, the in-game Game Guide does mention it.

Very odd, I wonder which one is correct.

Edit: Perry said it’s multiplicative.

Can confirm with Perry, Karv has stated it’s multiplicative to me as well.

TBH I really haven’t found chill to be all THAT useful. Trash mobs will die instantly and dungeon and monolith super bosses follow a pattern of actions which doesn’t seem to be affected by chill.

Bosses is where it’s most useful, it slows down their cast time giving you more time to get out of the way. The Dragon Emperor’s big AoE is a pretty obvious example. Back when it was originally introduced the first cast would be preceeded by you having 3 stacks of slow applied by the boss but with chill & 7% movement speed (before the slow) you could run out of it before it exploded.
