Whenever I try to use the search bar in my stash tabs, it doesn’t seem to always highlight what I’m looking for and frequently highlights completely unrelated items. Is there something I’m missing here or is this just something that needs to be fixed at some point?

I think they are planning on some improvements to the stash search functionality. Currently what it’s highlighting is anything with the word you’re searching for, even if it’s in the “Alt/Ctrl+Alt” additional info (which it shouldn’t be including). That’s why you’re seeing items that you wouldn’t expect to see.
