Is there a Guild system in place, or a place for LF guilds?

There are very recent threads about this already, if you had bothered to search. Long story short, there is no guild system in-game, at least for now. There are multiple threads about people forming informal guilds.

Don’t worry about raising this question on the forums. The devs need to see for themselves how much players are looking for/needing a feature like this so they know to prioritize it.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Love a guild system, especially as a newbie to the game. :smiley: Fingers crossed!

That is certainly true, but it’s much better to use one of the open threads instead of creating a new one, otherwise you’re flooding the forums with repeated threads and they end up getting ignored.

The game wasn’t originally conceived as a multiplayer game, so social features weren’t a priority.

I think that social features are important even in an ARPG though, beyond just friends lists, and I believe they are somewhere on the list of features to be added, just not at the tippy top.

I am waiting for 2 things:

  • Guild - just chat and card of our chars, link super drop items to other members is always nice, it’s enough for start

  • Social searching the mode - like in D3. We have already: Campaign, Dungeon, Monolith

Guild stuff is very important. At least the ability to make private chat channels would be nice (ala Diablo 1)

It was if you take into account the merchant’s guild. It is very much a social game. And being able to band with others is the epoch (pun intended) of a game such as this.

For you maybe, but not for everyone. Many of us prefer to play without having to play in a group.

A separate chat channel & a guild-only AH (with the same access/favour/rank requirements as the normal one).
