I really like Tempest strike but I see no builds with it. I don’t have as much time to play as I’d like and I don’t want to waste what I have coming to a dead end prematurely due to it being a possibly ineffective ability. Should I wait for it to be buffed or are there successful builds with it as a main skill?

While it’s very unpopular and it has some issues it is a skill that can be used as main skill for sure.
But Tempest Strike is getting an overhaul in 1.0 and Primalist is getting another low mana filler lightning skill
Now, no, in 1.0, maybe.
