Is Shrapnel buffed from different trees?

There’s a Primalist Gathering Storm tree buffs pf which affects Lighting Bolt for all the indirect casts (there’s even maxroll build based on that Frostbite Swarmblade Druid Guide - Last Epoch Maxroll.gg).

I found a few sources over the internet that says that Mage’s Volcanic Orb and Meteor trees do not affect each others Shrapnel, is it true?

I’m wondering 'cause for example Volcanic Orb’s “Eruption” text doesn’t mention that it affect only Shrapnel caused by Volcanic Orb, so logically it has to affect Shrapnel from all the sources.

These consistent Sub-Skills that are affected across multiple skill spec trees only exist relatively new.

Sharpnel both from Meteor or Volcanic Orb are incredibly old and donvt affect each other.

Once one or both of these skills gets a overhaul I can see them maybe doing something about it.

But as of right now, they are two separate Sub-Skills of two separate skills
