Is revamped COF comparable to MG, which one will you choose

I’m with you on this, we should shift more power into the passive bonuses. I also like the loot explosions from prophecies, but it’s pretty meh that they basically become our only source of relevant drops at a certain point.

This I would like a lot more.
To expand on it, what I would like best would be an option when you enter an echo/dungeon/arena to boost the rewards like you do with lightless arbor.
As long as you have favor you can keep juicing it up and it will be valid for that echo/whatever.

You get rid of “Kill X whatever in arena” and simply get “+50% chance to drop exalted ring” or “+100% chance to drop minion affixes” or “drop twice as many uniques”.
You can even make it timed. So you activate this in your prophecy tab, and that bonus is valid for 10 minutes.
You could overlap them, you could juggle them around for what you want. And you wouldn’t have to keep teleporting to observatory and back.

Prophecy targets, as they are now, just need consolidation and to show up on the quests UI (which you can turn on and off). If you have to kill Lagon at 150 corruption and 300 corruption, it would show as “Kill Lagon (min: 150; max: 300 corruption)” or something like that. It would have the added bonus that you could right click it and it would take you to the corresponding island.

If it were something like I suggested above, we already have that (in echoes and arena, anyway) where it displays the current modifiers.

I don’t like that at all. Rather get 20 rings when I meet a condition than have an increased drop rate for a limited area/time.

I wouldn’t mind if such were added to the pool of prophecies IF they would increase the numbers of prophecies rolled in one screen.

I said in another thread that I would like some CoF power shifted into passive bonuses, but that is something different. I prefer the prophecies to actively grant something.

I didn’t mean replacing one system for the other. I meant having an option between both, assuming you can balance them. That way people that like prophecies would do prophecies, people that don’t can use a different mechanic (either my suggestion or some other solution).
