Is "Damage while channeling" additive or multiplicative?

I realized the power of multiplicative stacking after getting the 100% fire pen talent in warpath. It literally double my fire build’s damage because it’s its own seperate damage modifier. Rather, it’s It’s not stacking additively with fire damage, but multiplicatively.

Is this also how “damage while channeling” works? If so, thats some crazy multiplication going on. I’m not sure that it could be additive anyways. What type would it add onto?

This must be a “must have” stat for warpath builds, right?

What source of it do you mean? I think most of these sources state “%inc. damage while channeling”, which is a conditional %inc damage stat, which is additive with all other %inc sources

It’s additive with all other % increased stats since it’s a increased.

@heavy There’s only one “damage while channelling” stat.

Are you guys saying there is a generic stats called “increased damage”?

How does that work with “increased fire damage”? is it the same thing/additive with that?

Anything that says “Increased” is additive with everything else that says “Increased”.

If it specifies a damage type, it only applies to that damage type.

Got it, thanks!

So conflagration talent on smite would normally be additive because it “increases damage”, but because it explicitly says (multiplicative with other modifiers) means it’s multiplicative?

And then the same for sacrifice as well, because it says the same thing?

It doesn’t say “increases damage”, it says it does more damage:

More = multiplicative
Increased = additive
