I do not believe that this skill is working as it reads. I have 200% bleed chance on raptor and it does 1300 damage per dot tick. I spec 4 points into ‘Infected Wounds’ and the damage goes up to 1500 damage per dot tick. I fail to see how those 4 points only raises the damage ticks by 200. after 4 attacks the dummy should have 8 bleed stacks. that is 8 [poison stacks per auto. after 10 seconds of autoing a dummy (+100% minion/companion attack speed), it should easily have 50+ poison stacks. Maybe i am misreading how this node works
From the sound of it, that node allows the beastmaster to spec into bleed (either personally or via other minions) & yet be able to get some poison chance with the Raptor (without otherwise speccing into minion poison chance). So if the target had 8 bleed stacks on it & with 4 points in that node, every Raptor hit would/should add 8 poison stacks. How much damage you get from those 8 stacks of poison depends on your poison damage.
It’s possible that it’s bugged & only giving 100% chance to poison (so it’s ignoring the “per bleed stack”), but only someone from EHG will be able to tell (@Hackaloken).
It appears that the poison chance isn’t being multiplied, it’s just the initial value shown on the tooltip. Thanks!
