Does in game chat works ? I can’t see people speak, even when i say “hello” no answer. Is it a bug or dead ?
Yeah, it works. You may be logging in on a dead time where most people that are playing right now are off, and others just don’t talk in chat.
Hey bro not kidding try /unmute charname there’s been a bug that’s been on/off since before I started playing near a year ago when you login for whatever reason your own character is muted.
Not sure why others aren’t speaking unless you’ve de-selected the main chat in the bottom left and you’re only showing party/local or something weird.
Either way hope you figure it out because there is always someone online yapping 
I experienced the ingame chat for a while and the most sane descission was ti mute it anyway so sorry for not answering if I ever will be on again
