Imprinted items not dropping?

Hi, I have one of my items imprinted, a chestpiece on three of the imprint slots on my weaver tree. Been playing for 10-15 hours since I’ve imprinted them, but they have not dropped a single time. Is this a bug? Or am I just extremely unlucky? It’s kinda unsatisfying putting points into these if the item just doesn’t drop, ever.

The item itself is an exalted chestpiece with only one Tier 6 affix on it.

what item? you cant imprint boss drop items and there is only one slot for body armor the others are for weapon and jewellery and web echo

There are three slots for body armor, actually. It’s just a exalted chestpiece with a T6 affix on it.

its for unique items only

Why would they let you imprint normal items if it’s for uniques only? There’s no text in the boxes indicating it’s for unique only.

It’s not for uniques only, don’t worry about that.

It’s very rare for an exact copy of the exalt to drop.
These nodes make ‘similar’ items drop, which means when it activates you will get (around) 4 body armors, which are much more likely to be exalted, are more likely to be that exact subtype, etc. But in my experience, it’s still unusual to get a matching subtype and exalt, let alone have it match the exact affixes.

Also that one on the far left is only when you kill champions, and makes them sometimes drop items with sealed affixes. You might want a rule in the loot filter to always show items with a sealed affix, if you want to make sure you never miss those.

I just rerolled at same time the imprint changes dropped. I am now hundreds of corruption in most timelines now at lvl 92, and a specific world drop ring in 3 slots. Maxed weaver tree and CoF specced specifically for farming that… I have not seen a single copy of the ring drop. The ring is in the slots as legendary though, so does that affect it? Or did they just make the imprinting way too strict? I understand they didn’t want it to be too generous, but this is a bit too strict in my opinion. It is stricter, than the general pace of upgrading your build.
