Immortal Emperor... Isn't Doing Anything

So, I’m on my first playthrough. I’m not sure what’s supposed to happen in the throne room, but I’m playing a void knight sentinel, and he sets his goons on me, right? After killing them, he says “ENOUGH! I want to know… who you REALLY ARE!!!” And he kinda glows a bit, and then… nothing. He stands there. I stand there. The quest says “Survive the Immortal Emperor!” It’s a bit awkward, honestly.

I waited a good ten minutes to see if anything happened or if a door opened up, but nothing else happens. I went back to town, saw the betrayor lady hanging around but no Alric. She seemed chill, at least, which was nice given that the last time we talked we went to blows. ):

Then I went back through the portal, killed the three minibosses again, and the same thing happened. I haven’t restarted my game yet, but this definitely felt worthy of a report.

There should be a quest icon over Yulia’s head from memory?

After I kill the three minibosses? There’s a chat box over my dead friend’s head, and it just says something along the lines of “I’ll avenge you bro” but that’s it, nothing else happens.

At that moment, try talking to Yulia. She will led you to the next quest.
