I'm Running on a Treadmill Going Nowhere. Sound Familiar?

Suggestions.

  1. Stash tabs need to stay the same when a new league starts. I don’t want to remake them eyer time. Gray out those not yet purchased in this league, and activate the once I’m clicking on with the purchase,ç.

  2. The Market needs two buttons: “Can Buy” (meaning I have enough gold and currency/standing to purchase the item) and “Can Equip” (meaning I have the level or other requirements for it).
It also requires a much better loot filter for posting and searching.

Selling an item should open a window where you place the item to sell, and all items with similar stats show up in a list, so that we can easily see what price to set.
Buying an item should have a much better filter where we can insert every stat we wish for (similar to the web-AH from PoE). This way, you don’t have to manually search through 10,000 pages to finally find an item.

  1. I didn’t finish the game this time around once I realized that there are no new bosses, no new loot, and nothing to strive for. To be honest, I don’t want to fight the same boss 100 times for some small upgrade. Two fixes for this:
  • Add more bosses. WAY more bosses.

  • Let us improve Uniques the same way we can craft other gear.

Once you’ve killed Aberoth (or uber Aberoth), there’s nothing left to wish for. Let can tell you about my experience from WoW: I have a character geared over 14 years that has almost everything a player can wish for: Gladiator title and mount, Thunderfury (which took me a year to get)., etc…you get the point.

This expansion is nice, but I won’t grind the same content over and over again just to make Alts. I’m not an Alt player. I like to have one character and boost that one to the maximum. I like the seasonal thing, but still want to play ONE character and really get him as crazy good as it can get.

Last Epoch is amazing. The systems you implemented are top-notch. All I’m missing is a reason to keep playing.

Yes, that’s a major point.
Even more important though is actual long-term mechanics which engage people instead of being ‘one and done’. Nothing of that kind exists in LE currently. They tried to do it with the primordial beasts and utterly failed as once more… you buy your item and it’s ‘done’.

Bosses are great for the variety, but without the foundation of a long-term method to sustain that short-term variety it doesn’t provide a upside in total. Sure… you can say you have 100 bosses… but if you have nothing to do in-between and those 100 bosses all need to be roughly at the same power level then you’re still through em in 1-2 days possibly.

The LP system already causes severe issues, so ‘no’ generally there.
Not that it would be a bad thing to do having a system which lets you play with uniques around more in some way… it’s just unfitting for the current situation, and likely a long time in the future.

The core itemization of exalted items is the biggest issue currently in LE, variety, RNG, acquisition methods and alteration (crafting) methods all need to be looked at to make a cohesive whole experience. It’s relatively grating at the moment in several of those areas.

If the systems are top-notch they would include the engagement long-term. Hence they’re not top-notch.
They feel good short-term and awful long-term, this is not great design for a product which is focused on long-term enagagement.

You cannot say sandpaper is designed top-notch quality-wise and then give it to people to wipe their ass with. Sure… it’s a great designed product… just used at the wrong place then :stuck_out_tongue: Same here, game-systems can be marvelously designed and still be awful… they need to be in the right position at the right time for the right product and clientel.
