Yup, it’d be good if we could right-click on the offending message & flag it as a gold spammer, EHG would then get the details of the message for them to review & take appropriate action.

Exactly. With no easy option like that, doesn’t matter how much I care about the game, I just can’t be bothered to file a report for every single spammer
FFXIV handled this extremely well. It made reporting players tedious because you had to dive through a couple menus. This was intentional to stop (or at least curb) impulse reporting where people would report just because they were mad right now.
Except you could easily right click and report someone for RMT and only RMT through that menu

And that’s why it would have to go through a real person at EHG to stop people being dicks.

Yep. And if someone is being detected as continuously abusing the report, their reports will be flagged as spam for a time

Yeah, all reports should go through a real person. They did with FFXIV too, but they made reporting RMT easy while rage reporting hard. So they weren’t flooded with “I’m reporting you to get you in trouble because I’m mad that you went too slow/too fast in this dungeon!”

I’m pretty sure EHG has someone monitoring the chat constantly. And even more so for bot spam.
I just want to know that it blocks the entire account when I block someone. I don’t think all these gold spammers have multiple accounts that they use to spam with.
That’s how it works everywhere, so I assume it does here as well.
Of course they do. It’s a numbers game. The whole point is to make enough money to make up for the bans.
