When gathering Idols you get plenty of 1-2 slot idols that are simply to weak to use and to good to throw out that would be useful when you create an alt.
I would like to see a way of crafting Idols that allows you to either reroll few of those into a random new Idol or possibly a Idol crafting system that allows you to get wanted affixes based on Idols you already own.
I think Idols are just good enough when you get them and you can hide unwanted mods or recolor/show wanted mods but that doesn’t always solve the issue when you already have plenty laying around in stash tabs.
If they’re too weak to use why are they too good to throw out? The small idols are supposed to be weak 'cause you can have far more of them.
Yeah, this has been suggested many times since idols were implemented & I’d kinda still like to see it happen, though I doubt it will since good idols are chase items.
I think the new Weaver Idols completely overshadow regular idols. Weaver Idols are way too common to get withsomewhat good affixes.
I think a 3 to 1 or 5 to 1 conversion of regular idols to weaver idols would be nice. And then if the idols share affixes the resulting weaver idols is much much mroe likely to have this affix in the weaver version.
