It would be convenient and incredibly useful to be able to reroll the ranges of idols, class idols in particular. The addition of reforging idols, which admittedly is very beneficial for a fresh start or a players very first character, is a tool that I personally feel loses it’s usefulness as a player becomes more capable of farming idols using other, more quantity based methods.
Whereas the ability to sacrifice idols with the same base type, or even the same base type and affixes (Gauntlet of Strife), or spend amber (Idol Enchanter) would be a feature that serves players continuously through their progression.
