Ideas for character gearing

Some have stated that you go too long between gear upgrades when trying to grind to 100. I get it. RNG. For example, Wudijo is 100 on his main and still wears alot of 70s level gear because he never found upgrades. That feels bad. But I have an idea. A form of bad luck protection if you will.
The idea is this. As you level higher, the affix range also increases, with the floor increasing as well. For example, at level 50, spell damage can roll between 50-75. At level 80, spell damage can roll between 125-175. At level 90, it can roll between 175-250. You get the idea. That way the game is respecting your increased level and you have alot higher chance of finding upgrades. Thoughts?

Sorry if I sound condescending… but to me what you are suggesting is just the concept of modifier tier, a modifier with a higher tier does have higher floor and range.
As a matter of fact it also has higher level requirements. Most crafted items already have level requirements that are well over 80.

Why is it bad to find at lvl 70 a really good item which I wear until lvl 100 and beyond? I don’t get it why so many ppl are whing about this… Why don’t you be happy to have an itemslot you must not care anymore?

It’s a mental thing. You’re level 98 and your hands are level 72. It feels weird. You feel like you should be wearing a 90+. Yes the 72 hands could have perfect high end rolls on the stats, but you’re always going to feel you’re missing out on something higher.
