Here’s a idea to make set item intressting, craftable and scalable.
A dungeon could offer to break an item in order to give magnitudes to a set item (of the same time). Set item would receive a magnitude bonus based on the total affixes tier (including sealed) of the sacrificed items. Set would give bonus not on the number of set items, but on the total amount of magnitudes on the set’s item.
Exemple for Last Bear’s Set
Bonus per Magnitude: Threshold bonus are increased by 1% per Magnitude
Threshold bonus:
Magnitude 30 : 15 Health Gain on Stun per
Magnitude 45 : +20 Strength
Magnitude 80 : +1 Strength per recent Stun
