If you happen to be next to a wall, and cast ice barrage in the direction of a point of contact with the wall, the Ice Shield node, and all subsequent nodes that buff the ice shield/cold damage do not function. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not. I just noticed I wasn’t getting the damage buff while testing damage, and found out this was why. I did also notice, if walk into a wall with an active ice shield, it stays active before, during, and after contact with the wall.
