I wondered if it was possible to create "mutable" classes for other roles?

Reading the news about Druid (impressive work), I wondered if it was possible to create similar “mutable” classes for other roles?

For example, for the Magician it could be the “genie” form, or something similar to the “archon” form.

For Rogi, it could have been the Shadows form.

For Sentinel, it is a form of “living armor”.

What do you think about this?

I think the idea fits very well with Mage and Acolyte, and of course with Primalist, but not really with Sentinel and Rogue.

Look. Sentinel is not just a guard, but a blacksmith, so he can create “weapons” (which is already working in the Forge Guard to summon blades).
Here it will look like “create armor”, “BIG armor” Even “BIIIIIG armor”. Which will add new or change old skills.

In fact, as in the case of the Druid, it is more a matter of animation and the player’s perception of their “story”.
It seems to me that this is more suitable for a blacksmith than, for example, Void Knight, who is not clear what is connected with a former blacksmith.

Regarding Rogue, you can make an “alchemist”, a killer who uses potions not to poison the enemy, but to change his flesh.
This is no worse than a blacksmith who has learned the magic of void or light.

Forge Guard: “Create Mech”

Nuff said.

Also, wrong genre.

If the mech uses sword and magic, it fits the genre.
The main thing is to create the right animation that matches the spirit of LE.
There are steampunk mechs, you can create a spellpunk mech.

By the way, take TeS as an example, there were magicians who summoned armor and weapons on themselves. There are other examples of how magic games have similar elements. I see no reason to reduce everything to Mech.

If you don’t like the idea of “making armor”, then you can use another idea.
The Sentinel loses control of the Void and Light forces and transforms into a monster.
2 types of transformation.

  1. Based on Void. (Knight Void).
  2. Based on Light (Paladin).

Considering that the developers maximize the possibilities of gameplay, give everyone 2 hands, give the ability to summon, I see no reason why this does not apply to transformations.
The main thing is to harmoniously fit it into the features of LE, and this can be done if desired.

There’s defenitely some steampunk like themes in LE. There are the machines that shred the worms in the imperial era as well es some weird “machines” like the waypoint that brings you to Julia.

But I don’t think a mech fits to the Sentinel.

Although the Forge Guard could summon a magical armour that replaces his original armour and grands him special abilities.
