at every foot step and every second u get items 99.99% just PLAIN garbage that cost so little gold .I remember playibg Diablo II back in time and when u got a yellow item u were insanely happy …a unique u were geting in weeks of farming…
Even runes were so hard to find …the only small things easy to find BUT precious were jewels/stones liek amethist/ruby etc
but why is that in this game, if we got allot items so easy and most of them garbage (even the orange one) the is no surprize in playing and grinding.
I wish most of items to count esepcialy if they are uncomon or rare, to be realy helpful, or even if there are some drops from normal mobs at least to get nice gold from them
PS: in a world of gliphs/runes etc that u can get evry every secound and maybe after u got thousands u will make a real item …so sad
Disagree. Keep the items coming. Buy more shatters. Stack them shards. The more items that drop the more likely to get the rolls you need for your build
u cant get an item to max tier because anyway it will be brocken …or fractured, beside taht u cant have glips to destroy all the items u got form drops
Shatter stones? you can buy from shop and stack a bunch.
You can get an item to max tier and its even more likely to do so if you start with an item you found that already has the affixes you want.
I think F7 activates spell check.
I am afraid i have to agree with @Udarjin. 99.99% of items you get are rather useless and with the current version of crafting its a real pain to shatter non stop the useless item and try tenth of times to craft a decent not even full t5 item. Not to mention the item disappearance ant 90%+ and other issues with the system.
Even 60%+ of the so called unique items seems useless. While i can agree that via crafting you can make decent piece of equipment i dont think that the ONLY decent choice you have is to craft and pray to the RNG gods. One of the most important aspects of the ARPG are to grind that hours and find that piece of equipment that you can just equip and do nothing else, that one piece that will make a difference. I can agree that there is the chance to find such equipment but the chances are nearly the same as winning the lottery .
Every second or third Monolith of Fate i dont even check the rare drops and recently i have stopped checking/picking uniques too. Just grinding the levels for that passive points…
i have played diablo 2 back in the days and i farm that Baal run and mefisto hundreds of tiem for pieces of gear and even on hardcore i farm them and the satisfy was HUGE.
And wehn i got Windfore best bow for amazon i jsut trade it for an Valor body armor ethereal so eyah … insane powerful items should be in this game and of course to be tradable.
PS : i play only melee and i get 90 % minion speel rares this si soo shit
Yeah once you find ZOD rune it would make you feel like GOD . Windforce/Grandfather even less rare items like Oculus/Shako/Tal rasha set/Unique jewels would build the hype up and give ya real enjoyment from the grind.
Its been a while since i last played d2 LoD so i have forgotten a lot of names of items but still…
We do need feel more enthusiasm for items drops and give some more selling value to them.
It’s basic in ARPG, the enthusiam is centered around lving and drop, so i would really like to have again this nice feeling come back as with in D2
Are these three posters the same guy? I see what you guys are getting at but maybe you are looking for the wrong things. I get EXCITED when I find a yellow because I know there is a chance it has good base stats for me to build on. This game is a bit different than Diablo 2, you are farming affixes and bases more than items IMO, which plays into the GENIUS crafting system.
Isn’t a loot filter on the roadmap for the last phase? I think a lot of this will be alleviated with being able to hide base types you’re not interested in.
I’m hype for affixes and prefixes no matter the color. Uniques got a nice buff this patch and are more worthwhile but there isn’t anything more satisfying then an item drop you can use to craft a full T5 of.
