I wanna play a class that is fun and good for leveling and end game. Tried playing a primalist beast master but that was honestly slow and boring.
Try a sentinel, fantastic leveling that transitions to end game.
Any kind of Warpath for example can be played from start to end game with no items needed.
Pet builds like BM/Necro start off very slow and ramp up as they obtain gear/uniques.
Where as sentinels get access to core skills early, Rive, Smite, Warpath, Void cleave, Erasing strike, Vengeance are all skills that have builds that will take you from start to finish and all are obtainable before or at mastery choice.
if you dont like melee, you can try mages, I dont have much experience with them at hyper end game, but I do know lightning blast, fireball, glacier, meteor and frost claw again are all obtained before or at mastery selection and can be played all the way to end game.
I was going to say everything Dicedragon said, he just beat me to it. More specifically though Melee Voidknight for dynamic late game melee play or Necromancer for more reclusive minion style of play. Both options offer good late game clear speed and survivability. The first one is more interactive.
reflect shaman. you can also play it as druid. you can lvl with it from level 35 when you equip the new body armor. fastest/easiest leveling i had with any build so far. its a 1 button build you just walk around and everything dies. also has good single target. saw someone kill uberoth with it
Mellow, while you did fall into the maxroll bear leveling guide trap, yours is a different issue. I see your posts asking for build help EVERY SINGLE SEASON.
It’s been 3 seasons. How about you start accumulating some game knowledge?
What’s that?
It’s a leveling guide on maxroll, which starts with this warning:
Basically it’s strong, but very slow build that relies on the bear. The problem stems from player being very squishy, which caused many players to die often after following this build.
I’d say that’s still better than their trap since last season which is to tell players to level as another mastery and then respec. They don’t warn not to spend any gold and many players reach the point where they want to switch and don’t have enough gold and they’re stuck.
Maxroll used to be good for new players, because their guides were always very extensive and explained things pretty well, even if they were not particularly optimized.
These days they’re a noob trap.
Yeah, I also remember they used to be good.
Man, I don’t want to write another steam guide for leveling builds
I play reflect Forge Guard sentinel, very powerful, easy gameplay and I enjoy it. Similar to reflect shaman but more tanky and faster clear speed than shaman.
So that I can recommend.
It’s definitely tankier (although reflect Spriggan is best as Druid, since it’s tankier than Shaman), but the clear speed isn’t as fast because spriggan just needs a few stacks, morph into bear and perma rampage the echo.
The main downside of spriggan is bosses.
Fun is hard to catch for someone I don’t know. Easy to play and to level… Judgment Paladin hands down. Nothing easier then that. You get a crap ton of defences from the tree, you can use movement skills to zoom arround and you have a big bonk + an aura that burns stuff depending how you skill it. Can become braindead though.
