So an NPC in MG that I can price check anything would be awesome, AND/OR creating a tool for it. There’s more points, don’t stop reading yet. Something that populate prices of similar affixed items. Overwolf has this for PoE2 and it’s phenomenal, I press Alt+E while hovering over an item and it takes the affixes + the item type and shows me similar posts, all done in game (Ex. in a mono I can real-time price check so I’m not wasting inventory space on trash). I think you guys have the capability to do this. The more efficient you make MG, the more popular it’ll become. It’s always lagged behind CoF simply because it’s a hassle.
Rant paragraph: The thought of getting gold AND getting favor to buy an item, AND I might not even be able to buy it because my rank isn’t high enough… it’s so counter-intuitive to the mindset of an open market like in reality. All I’d need is the gold. And that’s what would make it fun btw, being able to buy new pieces of gear more often, people would be selling things more often, and I’d have my things sold more often. It’s a win-win-win for the buyers, sellers, and the game itself. Everything is better with less restrictions… but the black market tokens are huge, and it feels good when they drop, so there’s a positive there I guess lol.
Side point, the gold drop rate for MG should be increased, because we spend it on storage and on gear, which brings me back to my original point. Because we lack gold, we need to trade for it, but despite playing this game for years I still don’t know wth other people want on their gear lol. I’ve only played my own builds using CoF the whole time and there’s no way to “request to buy something”. The better the information we have about the price of items (real-time), the more natural MG will feel.
Best suggestion: Please make it less restrictive, like a third type of token that can drop OFTEN that can wave the price of gold or make it 50 percent off. There’s a lot of gear slots to fill, and when each slot can be somewhere between 50 to 200k, it’s only the top dogs that can afford to change often, which isn’t a fun experience for a casual player who wants to try out different builds in the limited time they have.
