I look like a scrub... HELP

So for starters, I realize you have a microtransaction shop, but this is an idea that the two things can exist. For some inspiration, look at the industry leader in character customization… Elder Scrolls Online. I realize it is an MMO, and I certainly don’t expect anything as robust as that, but it is a perfect example of a game striking the perfect balance between incredibly deep gear and character customization and still having a robust microtransaction store. Many people say in seriousness that fashion is the true endgame.
How does that apply here? Well, I doubt I am the only one who likes to make every character I create fit the theme of the build I am playing. If I choose a wizard, I want to have options to LOOK LIKE A WIZARD. Currently my sorceror is rocking what appears to be Jesters Motley, and a helmet stolen off the set of a Sci-Fi flick that stars Charlie Chaplin.
If I play a rogue, I want to look like either a Ranger or a Brigand. A good place to start would be an option to re-color our “gear” to the same shade. Give us some of the basic looks, and then as we start to bond with the character we’ve made, many of us will start looking at the MTZ to show off that grind. Eventually, my robed and hooded mage will want to show off his true status as an ARCHMAGE, and that where the MTZ could really shine.

It looks like you formatted your post weirdly - it shows up as one big line.

But regarding your feedback, I agree. We need more Customization Options!
I’ve already bought a bunch of armor sets, but personally, I think we have too many ‘epic’ MTX options, and not enough regular ones.
Sure, we can be a “stardestroyer, the epic soulkiller of doom who has a clock on his face” with some MTX, but what about an armor set that*s just like “leather armor and a hood” or something else more grounded. Or something like “Green Cape”, “Blue Cape”, “Red Cape”, etc…

And regarding the non-paid options… they’re kinda pitiful.
When power is so closely tied to gear (because we are in an ARPG after all), tieing appearance also to gear is a bit of a restricting choice. We can’t really build our character based on looks, because we need to look at affixes. So either we pay money (which is okay for someone like me with disposable income) OR we just are content with weirdly matched freak outfits.

FYI, we should get a ‘transmog’ system next season - allowing visual equipment changes, and potentially a dye system.

Yeah, Not sure why that happened, but I fixed it. Thanks

As much as I would love more, I can spend hours on each character finding the perfect gear, I would be satisfied for now with a transmog. Barring that, let me zoom out about twice as far as we can currently, so I can’t tell I look like a goof.
