I think there’s a ton of system logs or error logs that are collecting data that are chewing through bandwidth and causing packets to be resent over and over that they were using to help with development and never had a reason to comment out or remove because volume wasn’t this high until now. Just food for thought for the team…remove all of it on the live build for fun and see what happens, cheers.
That’s definitely a thought that would never have occurred to any of them if you hadn’t shared it.
im thinking
while in zone → accumulate data
when going to new zone → send packet of information titled ‘everything i did in this zone im about to leave’ to server
and that that was a wonderful way of aggregating information about exactly what was happening where in order to fix any potention problems
