That looks really bad and people already hate it you can see it on steam latest reviews and i cant blame them you havent finished your game yet its still in early access but you are releasing mtx shop? just looks really dumb and gives impression you wanna cash out as much as possible before dumping the project i would understand releasing MTX when the game isnt in early access anymore idk who made this decision but its dumb just my 5 cents

This, was planned and communciated since Kickstarter.
This is also not the full blown MTX Shop, but its a Beta of it.
They want to gather feedback on the implementation, UI, functioanlity etc.
Also there were a lot of people who specifically asked for this, so they can further support EHG without buying duplicate supporter packs.

Its not dumb at all alot of the Community wanted the MTX early
Normaly they said that they first finish the game and then the MTX will come.
But most of the Community ask for the MTX before full release so there is a way to Support EHG or design their Character´s
I think its nothing wrong about it to release the MTX already because alot of Ppl. are happy about it.
Yeah the prices at the Start was realy bad and weird but they changed it already and alot of the Revies on steam are from the old prices.
and at the end its only cosemetics and u dont have to buy anything

I hope EHG is testing EVERYTHING in beta before release. If only one part of the puzzle isn’t that well fitting Steam reviews will be the usual clusterfuck while there are people out there who, for what ever reason, care about these reviews.
PoE did it. And tes, that’s a f2p game, but the shop wasn’t required to get people to buy packs.
The best time to cash out and dump the project was 5 years ago after the end of KS campaign. Not now.

I was one of the players who asked for MTX shop and support packs to be introduced asap.
MTX shop needs testing as well.

Imagine the outrage then if 1.0 arrived with a cash shop that was like how the initially made it.
Probably alot more players by then.
I don’t get what’s wrong with it in this case when they are explicitly saying it’s a beta of the feature AND just how much they want to listen to the community.

Do people actually care about this? They’re an indie developing studio and need funding. Let people who want to support them do it and get some virtual swag. Good grief.
I totally agree with you. Release what people have ALREADY PAID for. The time spent on the MTX store, is time that should of been put towards getting the game released.
