everything looks great so far i am very hyped to play this with my friend last time i played this game was like 2-3 years ago in between that but the optimisation was horrible i have 3070 5 5600x and i was getting 30-40 fps when i can play demanding titles on 100+ fps now they updated graphics it looks much better than before but does that mean il be getting even lower fps?
You havenât played in 2 - 3 years⌠they have rolled out tons of optimizations over that time. The optimization isnât 100% but I get 100 FPS for 90% of the game at the moment. Hell even on steam deck I get more than the 30-40FPS you supposedly got. I donât think Iâve ever dipped below 80 FPS since 0.9.

This is a very real concern for me. Both my sons are into Lego A lesser-known fact is that Duplo can be just as dangerous, if not more so, than regular big kid Lego. There is also a danger of twisting oneâs ankles when Duplo blocks are involved.

Either that or the devs did their work and tested things and optimized it. You know, like devs tend to do? Either way, youâll find it out tomorrow.

Yeah, Iâm sure both those things are part of the reason the graphical upgrades waited until the 1.0 release: Both design and optimization. But, then again, that is more of a reason why it should have had a broader test-base.

I lock the FPS to 100 on every game. I will unlock when I get home and see what FPS I get.
Iâm on a RX 6750 / Ryzen 7600, getting 300fps on minimum and locked at 144 on ultra 99% the time (Just a very few maps drops below 100). The Optimization is far way better than some games already launched, and itâs in open beta.
Even with the graphical updates, I believe it wonât have that much of an impact, and even if it does, Iâm sure they wonât neglect it. And it will be a priority in the first days of launch, they wonât miss the golden opportunity they have in their hands with so many big streamers waiting to play.
Do you work for Valve?
Not if the newer graphics are less demanding, which they are in this case.
Like the entire community? IE, no testing at all?
