Husk of Elder Gaspar Hit Box is beyond broken

I have attempted to fight him with a geared character. I can face tank almost anything. I have to run from his tri beams because it does so much damage. The hit box is literally the worst I have ever seen in any game on any boss ever in the creation of existence and the universe. I was literally in between the beams on my screen and I died… No where even close. Either reduce the turn speed or make the hit box more distinguished. I have no idea but the boss is literally impossible to fight unless you have I frames for 10 seconds.

When I read “hitbox” and “between the beams”, I’m hearing someone who was attacking in melee while the beams were out.

OP probably meant the hitbox for the tri-beam.

While I never had the problem of desynced hitboxes with this tri-beam, this is not the first time I read players complain about being killed when the beam was visually far away.

I think hitboxes get weird sometimes if you stun/freeze the boss, also with things like pull/knockback.

I did not get hit in melee range lol. Just running around.

I’m a smiter. Not much freezing or stunning going on lol.

I will have to second this, the hitboxes are so odd sometimes. It happens in several fights that you really don’t seem to be in the aoe but then something will just one shot you telekinetically. Although I must say I play on ping, around 100ms, so that’s probably why, in my screen I’m not in the AoE but the server probably sees a different thing. So yeah, for me it’s ping, not sure for other peeps.

I have the same issue, but only affects me online, offline mode is normal. In online mode I have do be right on top of the beams, I’m already used to it, I’ve got this problem since 1.0 lol
