Way to powerful lol. Everyone would wear t20+ in all slots in a matter of a few hours. But it sounds good
the items may have limited crafting times depending on its level and quality
I have an idea for this, since most of us who farm a lot will have thousands of instability runes, and glyphs ect… on our progression journey, after a certain amount of time played, maybe we can craft a higher tier rune that gives us an option to remove instability on one affix, per an item so we have that extra, added control during the crafting process. but make the cost extremely high, so that it would take a lot of time to use on just one item. I feel we need a resource dump from our surpluss supply, as those glyphs, and runes are most certain to never be used. I imagine you yourself have thousands, and thousands just not having a purpose other then sitting there, never to be depleted. and if we don’t want to remove instability for fear of it being too powerful, then perhaps making it so we could re roll the base implicits of an item to a higher range could suffice. Nothing brings us down quicker, then getting a sweet item drop to have great affixes, only to find out the base implicits of that item are extremely low rolled range.
Other ideas I have include upgrading base runes to Exalted runes making them more effective at giving your control over your crafting.
Mcfluffin also brought up a good point that we could have exalted/empowered glyphs just be rare drops as well within the game.
That might be interesting … having cooldowns on some runes.
Give them a 24, 48 or even 72 hour cooldown making them very powerful, but can’t use too often to be overused?
Daily rune use would be really annoying. It may sound fun in theory, but in practice all it does is make an artificial stop gap on the time needed to max out gear(if the runes are a necessary part of doing so)
Maybe getting it specifically at high level arena runs or after a specific number of monolith echos would work, because even the better builds still need some amount of time to reach arena 150 or monolith 10.
This is an excellent suggestion since farming idols is by far the hardest thing in the game. Given that each class has about 8-12 prefixes and suffixes (incl common ones) per idol (and there are 5 size variants for each class) the permutations are endless and it is pure guesswork on which idols to keep for future builds. Farming up 4-6 idols for a new build takes me 1 week of playing at least so totally puts me off changing to a build where i don’t already have 2-3 of the required idols
i m precising my thought , I mean a number of crafting times low lvl and quality items could be upgraded 2 times and High ones 6 times without instability
