i’m able to do 100k poison dot in 1 tick with spellblade now, but it’s still real slow compared to everything else…
i tried glacier crit, it is a really bad bd… much worse then my spellblade, which is much worse then my soul feast lich…
i can do 12+k with big glacier to elites with the glacier, that’s the best it can do
and its defense system is really bad
Crit glacier can go 800+ waves I domt think you had gear optimized correctly
i’m sure it can go past 1000, it’s just slow is all
the thing is that, it does not grow stronger along with the creeps
unlike “sucking” builds like the lich and spellblade
this thing does not get any better which makes it a lot worse then the better builds that do
i am doing 12+k to elites with 112% glancing 72% dodge (75% when i eat a potion, i guess i should just get 45% increased dodge instead…)
i’m sure i won’t die even with a 0.3+sec latency, which is the latency i play with after wave 500 (they have got to optimize this…)
and talk about bad… it is bad in all ways…
bad range, bad ward amount, bad lategame damage (which forces me to slam glaciers a lot of times to kill beetles), have to recharge with focus to get mana (the haste i get from channeling is great)…
It has unlimited range… 6k ward is a good chunk of ward. Dont be expecting soul feast 20k+ ward to be a thing of the future thats going to dissapear for sure. 12k crits is not bad late game damage. Especially if you have 100% crit.
i’m pretty sure my glacier bd is the most optimized glacier bd there is
the crit rate for glacier is capped just need the 6%from the offhand and the 35% from the amulet
i have 6k~7k ward all the time but that’s not a lot compared to the (at least) 150k ward my lich can get…
and yeah they gotta fix this, this shit is broken 
but even if let’s say, we cap the lich’s and spellblade’s ward at 10k, they r still 1 tier above crit glacier… they deliver with much more ease, safety and efficiency
Your lich gets 150k only if 4 trash mobs groups appear. I’ll beat against 4 ants you struggle for 6 or 7k. Lich build cant take breaks without the risk of a scary start up. As for the most optimized glacier build. You dont have 100% crit. You only have 45% dodge. And your not using it as a ranged skill. Seems unlikely in terms of survival that you most optimozed
wait wait wait wait… i need ranged??? doesn’t that take away the extra crit damage???
and concerning damage, the lich can get to 330k on the dummy… there is no single creep a lich struggles against… that is why i’m saying crit glacier is not doing a lot of damage
and what does the optimized crit bd have instead of dodge and 100%crit?
All dot builds especially poisom out perform hit builds. But f
For a hit build. Crit glacier is the best. That node doesmt make you do amy less damage ATM try it. Might be brokem
and regarding scary start ups, this is what i do, i use rip blood on myself to get 5k in 2secs, i don’t even wear exanguinous now
it says “no more extra crit damage”, if what u said is the case, i have to grab it!!!
if i want to play things safe, i can summon 6 skeletons to get 42k ward max or 20+k in 1~2 sec, but summoning skeletons is annoying so i don’t do it no more
ok i grabbed that node, the thing is broken… it does not do what it claims it will do, i can still do crit damage (only 11k+ against elites and 6k+ now)
the skill is decisively better now!

You can also get 15 ward per crit. So thats 45 ward per cast per enemy hit woth 100% crit. You might get your 9-10k ward ypur looking for
So crit glacier does well because the tooltip for a node is bugged?
i see, u r sacrificing a little bit of damage and crit to get more ward, i didn’t grab those nodes
well, if the ranged glacier node prevents u from doing crit damage, then u r most certainly screwed… i don’t think they should do anything about this becuz i don’t feel that this bd is OP compared to other bds, it is just really easy/cheap to get is all
