How lens work exactly i dont understand?

so first time i started playing cirlce faction and i just noticed there are some kinda lens for example there is greater lens wich says

“15% chance per rank to find unique items” find unique items where? on the prophecy telescope? but if i use weapon telescope it only rolls unique/exalt prophecies anyway so whats the point from this greater lens? i also tried to use 2x lens with 20% chance to find unique wand per rank and i kept rolling weapon telescope and i rolled like 20 times and didnt notice that i would be getting more unique wand prophecies? so how does this all work then

Yes, it increases the chance that when the prophecies are being rolled the reward will be a unique item.

The rewards can also be rares or sets as well as uniques/exalteds. That lens skews the probability of any given reward towards uniques. If you’ve only ever seen uniques/exalteds as rewards then you’re “lucky”.
