How is game play with increased server load

So you plan to play offline because there is a chance (my expectation: likelihood) that the servers could not work very well and you have to play offline?

Well they did turn on the player queues, so would that fall into category 2, or do we need a #4 in this list:

  1. Working, but you will never know, because you canā€™t get through the queue before other responsibilities take precedence.

My expectation is that the game will be playing smoothly, but the queue will be the annoying part. And they will gradually increase the amount of concurrent players, though out the first few hours, until it begins impacting performanceā€¦ Then we will have to deal with the queue until they bring additional server resources online, and repeat the ā€˜increase concurrent playersā€™ part until we no longer have a queue, or the demand dies down. removes Captain Obvious hat

Thereā€™s also:

  1. Working, but you donā€™t know because only the streamers get to bypass the queue.

Oh wait, thatā€™s a PoE exclusive. My bad.

Itā€™s funny you mention that, because I took a break from LE for a few months, and just watched streamers. As a result, I figured they had made ALL items common drops (LP4 uniques included), because of how streamers get better drops rates.

Not at all. If the servers are stable, Iā€™ll play online. Itā€™s good to have options, though.

To be fair, it only happened once and GGG learned from the backlash from that mistake.

They got caught once.

The backlash on that descision was gold to me. I believe it happend before btw since Ziz talked about it not taking the bypass. Also i noticed in multiple over the years certain streamers playing act 4 while the official time wasnt up yet (and no it wasnt early up for everyone as they did aswell sometimes). But i might be wrong, it was suspicious to me however.
