I’m trying to wrap my head around Freeze but could use some help. According to the wiki it works as follows:
Freeze Chance = (1 + increased freeze chance) * freeze rate / (maximum health of the target)
So… if I understand this correctly that means that if something says ‘freeze rate 15’ and your freeze rate (not chance) gets a 300% buff that means the freeze rate would be 60. Assuming with items you manage to get increased freeze chance +2 that’d leave that at 3, which results in:
3 * 60 / mob max health
I hope I’m wrong here, cause this sounds utterly useless. A mob with 3k health would have next to no chance to be frozen.
From the game guide, freeze chance = (freeze rate x freeze rate multiplier) / (max hp + current ward + freeze avoidance).
A common freeze rate is 60 & at end game it’s not too difficult to get 1,000% freeze multi, giving a final freeze rate of 660. A 3k hp mob would have a 22% chance per hit to be frozen.
