How do you increase or decrease the amount of Merchants favor you want to sell things for?

I can only manipulate gold it seems.

However when i go price check a 2 lp item i want to sell, I see the exact same item for 0 gold and 10500 favor.

But when i try to list my item for 0 gold, the default favor is 2600 and I casnt figure out how to change that.

You dont nor do you get the favor for profit just gold. Favor is there just to increase your rep.

the favor is a fee and it’s not traded between players

Favour cost to list an item or buy an item is fixed and is a function of the item itself. It should be thought of as a fee for buying/selling. You cannot change it. And the fee for buying a specific item is much higher than the fee for listing it (about 4x higher). This is why you are seeing that difference.
