How do you feel about ranges on items

so you can try to fix crappy roll on item if it isn’t unique with crafting but you don’t usually have the crafting potential to do it and add something or randomize some too. while finding a unique is rewarding in many ways they can’t be crafted so one with bad roll is usually pretty much trash you sell if you pick it up at all.

It’s another RNG component on a system that has way too many RNG components.
I usually roll at the end, unless the roll is an absolute dealbreaker for the item (spell crit on crystal skulls)

The game has too much RNG, i get that looting for that perfect item is what make a good ARPG but too much RNG can become frustrating, especially for those who do not have too much time on their hands (yes, i’m a filthy casual). On weekends i play for about 4 hours and feel I haven’t progressed much or at all…

I’m not overly fond of wide ranges on rolls, but the devs (especially Mike) are & I get why, I’m just not really a fan.

I don’t like it. Sucks finding what you thought was a cool item and then it’s crap because the rolls are low. Also, even for craftable items, I usually don’t have the potential left over, so I just have a massive stockpile of those runes not doing anything.
