How can I use points I have respecced?

I respecced 5 points from my blade dancer’s shuriken specialization and want to use them on a different specialization after I close the respec window I cant open passive or skill window??

Next time you should probably read the large window that popped up telling you how the skill respec system works.

Here, to save some time, I’ll just type what it says in the respec window when you clicked to remove those 5 skill points –

“REMOVE SKILL POINTS - Remove spent points of your choosing in this skill tree. Each point removed will reduce the skill’s level by 1 if above your minimum skill level. Level up the skill as normal to spend these points again.”

You don’t just get the points back. But your post isn’t clear – did you unlearn the 5 points thinking you could move them to a different skill? (You can’t) – or did you despecialize the skill altogether so you could switch it to a different skill?

Either way, you only will retain the amount of skill points equal to your Minimum Skill Level. Anything over that, you have to re-level up. Fortunately it seems like the game gives an XP buff up to a point to help speed re-leveling if a skill is underleveled.

Thanks, yes I did despecialize the skill expecting to be able to apply them to another skill?

Ok, yeah, when you switch entirely, you only will get skill points back equal to whatever your “Minimum Skill Level” is. It does go up over time as you level up so it won’t always start as low. But I’m new to the game, I don’t really know more than that. I think the max minimum skill level is 10?
