5 Hotkeys for skills is not enough. In a previous discussion some players argued they needed up to 7 or 8 and some argued that it should remain 5. I’m not sure why players who like 5 (or less) feel that everyone should play their style and be restricted. If you’re a player who is content to push the same 2 or 3 buttons forever, that’s fine with me - but I think restricting the other 80% of players is limiting the game for them. A compromise would seem to be in order. 6 hotkeys is not asking too much and from what I can tell after playing this game for 2 weeks, there are many builds that absolutely require 6. Even with 6, many builds would still have to be partially restricted with players prioritizing their skills for those builds. Let’s seriously consider compromising with 1 more skill hotkey.
Personally, I barely even use the 5 that are there… but I can see certain builds benefitting from more keys…
If changing the interface is the sticking point here, perhaps they can allow for more hotkey skill binding in the settings. I.e. leave the 5 hotkeys as they are, just allow other unassigned skills to be added to user defined keys in the configuration.
would be tricky to see cooldowns without an interface change, but this method could cater for the specialist players that need more button mashing to be happy…
