I wish you would do theses notifications in a way that you show a message that says the time when there will be a hot fix sure. But afterwards please do “IN 1 HOUR” → “IN 30 MIN” → “IN 15 MIN” → and so on with maybe a countdown each 5 seconds the last minute. Thank you in advance. You can even send a server side message instead of the popup, or do both the popup and the message.
