This has probably been mentioned before, but I couldn’t find any topics with a quick search.
The drop rate of glyphs, runes, and shards needs to be kicked up significantly in the early game. Especially glyphs of hope, glyphs of chaos, and runes of shattering. Being able to balance and scale a build throughout the leveling process helps better ease the transition into random difficulty spikes heading into ~50+ content. Especially for HCSSF players.
It’s also just fun to play around with different builds and affixes early on. The gold reward for selling items is a pittance, and dropping items with good affixes on the ground because you don’t have enough resources to change even a single stat is jarring and not fun.
The crafting system is one of LE’s greatest highlights and allowing players to access it more often and earlier on just adds to that.
