The affixes in this game are honestly in my opinion hard to learn. It’s like trying to find the right pieces to the missing puzzle… I copied a guide but idk if it was even up to date… I went judgement aura build and i even tried making my own filter and nope doesn’t even work. And when I see someone else’s filter, it’s all cluttered and confusing… I may just give up but I don’t really wanna give up… I have a learning disability and would love some help learning this game.
When you view a build in the build planner, there’s a button to auto-generate a filter for it. So whatever build you saw, check the build planner for it and auto-generate it.
As for the question of the build being updated or not, that’s easy to find out. If it has a primordial unique or a primordial exalted, then it’s updated. If it doesn’t, it’s not.
What is it exactly that you’re struggling with? Knowing what affix can go where?
If that’s the case, you can bookmark this page, and use ctrl+F to find the mod you want to know about - for instance, if you do ctrl+F and look for “minion damage”, you’ll find this, which tells you where the “increased minion damage” affix can be found, as well as whether it’s a prefix or suffix.
If you’re in game, I think that you can also do the following:
- Open your item filter (shift+F)
- Add a temporary new rule (that you can delete after doing what I’m talking about here)
- Add an “item type” requirement, and specify the item type that you’re interested in
- Add an “affix” requirement, and open the list of affixes
The game should show you what affixes can or can’t appear on the item type you selected.
