Hey devs, you going to acknowledge transmog or something?

On the original roadmap, transmog and gear dyeing was planned for season 4, along with skill sigils. As you know, the latter has been delayed til whenever the expansion comes out, but transmog was completely left out, and there doesn’t seem to be a single dev response as to why.

I know this ain’t news at this point, but it seems baffling that such a simple feature is not only not included 2 years later, but they can’t even be bothered to acknowledge it. It’s not like the MTX are raking in the dough, cause they even said they aren’t.

Yeah, I agree…

I feel like investing resources into this instead of the new monolith UI would have been more useful and better received.

In recent streams the devs have said they would really like to implement it but other features have taken priority.

So how come it wasn’t that said in a forum post? That’s what I’m also asking.

Maybe in season 5. A dev said season 5 is going to be factions overhaul so

Would’ve been included on the roadmap if so. Instead, they had to put balance changes and new uniques because of how lacking it’s going to be

Really disappointed that it’s out. I’ve been patiently waiting for transmog to actually play the game, because it really bugs me how hideous clownsuits look with uniques that don’t match and the paid MTX offers up the gaudiest, ugliest designs I’ve ever seen in any game despite the decent looking normal gear…

I logged into the forums for the first time now, just to see about this topic. Much of the default gear looks really good. Many of the uniques look terrible and the paid cosmetics are all completely ridiculous. I respect that the devs are focused on the game itself… But I everyone wants transmog and most of us would be willing to pay for it. It seems like an absolute no-brainer that they should get something done ASAP. I’m sure that extra income could be put to use to invest into other areas of the game, so it’s not like it would be a waste of time from that point of view, either.
