After you retrieve the spear for Heorot’s Last Blessing quest, the quest wants you to return to Heorot. Generally you go from the solemn path to the scorched grove. I tried to go to the scorched grove from the gates of solarum, then to the burning forest, then to the scorched grove.
This had me rewatch the fight between Heorot and the fire bird. Then it still wanted me to return to Heorot via the desired path ( Heoborea - Solemn Path - Scorched Grove).
