I always enjoy playing a char till about lvl 75 - 80. Thats when i hit a wall with gear.
This is not a LE thing, but just about every ARPG i play. (Except D3, but that was just cookiecutter stuff). I hit a wall as if i change my gear, ill gain something like Health, but then loose Resistances somewhere else… Its always a trade off and im someone who sucks at that, i want the extra Health, but also keep the Resistance… Which causes me to never change out gear. And thus keep getting one shotted at a certain point. To which i just lvl a new char.
Anyways, i got a fun beastmaster Serpent Strike poison pet build going. Fun to play and id like to push this one a bit futher.
However my defenses are fed up. And i have no idea how to fix this. If anyone want to take a look and see what can be approved, id appreciate it a lot. (ive used the planner to see what gear i needed, my actuall char is lvl 72.)
a) always get health. Health is MORE IMPORTANT than others affix.
b) I did a new build:
Viper strike = main skill
Minions = support (crit avoid + healing + poison bonus)
Warcry = Melee speed bonus
Aspect = poison and melee speed bonus
Spriggan Form = EMERGENCY button , press it and you get full ward + full armor + health totem
You could always go dodge. I was aiming for that when I tried out serpent strike, but just felt like a poison rogue with less defenses honestly. Maelstrom adds dodge per stack, so does Serpent Strike. Spriggan minion adds dodge, granted scaling from attunement.
