I mostly ignored the game shortly after 1.1 came out. Now I am back, 1.4 has been out for a little while and I get this new quest for my four offline characters who are 70+: Chasing Apophis. One has completed it and gotten the reward. It is a work in progress for another one. The last two? Locked out. They have it in their quest log. The quest-giver in the End of Time won’t let them restart it and the Ancient Oasis waypoint is locked. Anyone has a workaround for this?
To advance it you need to finish a 3 window Omen’s Veil, not letting any of them close (or doing them 1 at a time but never killing the omen boss until all 3 spawn) and then picking up the Fractured Prison echo map.
If it fails, drop the Fractured Prison map and pick it up again.
I had several of my olds not even seeing the quest & locked out. Go to the knight lady in end of time talk to her. Hopefully she’ll give you the end of time quest to go to monolith lady. Go to monolith lady then go into monolith go all the way north till you see snake lady & gaspar. Take their quests. For me the chase quest never came up for those 3. I was able to continue in monoliths.
Hmm i believe what hes saying is maybe do snake ladys quests that far & then the chase quest comes up? I hope so. Its not fair our old chars cant finish.

First, I followed yet another time what Violesta suggested: I spoke to the Forgotten Knight, to Agony and then to Apophis, the Oracle. I added Gaspar for good measure. Nope, it did not work.
Second, DJSamhein, I do not know what you are talking about. All four of the characters I mentioned have seen purple omen markers in echos and closed them successfully. I do not know what an Omen’s Veil is, much less a 3-window one. I believe all my echoes were well below level 90 though. The character that has completed the Chasing Apophis quest did so before ever touching a level-90 echo. Same with the other one currently working on the quest. Given how easy it was to do with the character who completed the quest (84ish), I doubt it was designed for characters having completed level-90 echoes.
I misread your issue. I have seen reports of people not advancing the quest due to that, but that is already in a very late stage. It doesn’t seem to be relevant to your issue, so ignore it.
