One thing, i’m not english native, sory about my language. (german speaker)

During the Story you encounter a strange Phenomenon

your Quest Marker tells you, there is something. and you dicide to investigate,
there is a lightning beam coming out of nowhere and shine on the map.
you going near to the light and it’s response,
its getting brighter and brighter and sucks you in.

you wake up in a strange city, unlike other cities you encounter it look kinda unnatural, and soon you see why, the whole city floats in the air and there are persons who looks kinda strange with wings on the back.

someone who you think is the leader of this strange culture tells you that they send the light for help, they need help and needs you.

For your Help they will Help you with Enlightend, they Buff the Monster but give your more Loot, EXP oder specialised Items or even Enlightend Items with more Crafting Potential (not craftable Potential)

How you can help?

The Heaven’s World is in War with other Worlds and need a Champion, thats you.

They announced you as a Champion to other Worlds and the other worlds sends their Champions to you to challenge you in random map events, or the even change the worlds in the monolith in abstract worlds for a fight with you.

When you defeat enough Champions you can go to the Heaven’s World and they can insult the other Worlds so they send stronger normal mobs to your world so you gain more exp, more rare mobs so you gain more items or even stronger Champions so you can gain Enlightend Items with more crafting potential (or new Prefix/Suffix).

(or perhaps a “Key” to their World where you can battle the Chef of the World (Boss battle sorta thing with unique Item drop pool))

Thats my idea for a new endgame grind (Heaven’s War)

oh and a extra projectile Affix would be nice.

  1. = 1 extra projectile 1-3% more damage per projectile
  2. = 1 extra projectile 4-6% more damage per projectile
  3. = 1 extra projectile 7-10% more damage per projectile
  4. = 1 extra projectile 11-15% more damage per projectile
  5. = 1 extra projectile 16-20% more damage per projectile
  6. = 2 extra projectile

I do like the overall suggestions. I could see something very similar to this get added to the monolith.
Especially this part is what I would like to see.

I think having random monsters getting juiced while doing regular content to get some specialized loot explosion would be awesome.

I am not sure about the exact implementation and they story behind it, but the overall idea I quite like.

This is probably not feasible as a regular affix.

This would not work well currently, because there is no dedicated projectile tag". Also this would probably create a big imbalance between certain skills.

I can see something like this for specific skills on class Specific Affixes like Helm, Body and Idol Affixes).

IIRC there already is an affix like this for Multishot

the idea was to bring some randomness in game, so every monolith feels special (i mean for a certain number of times, of course.)
Some sort of a certain chance to change the world you get in, or a certain champion which drops a certain number of itempool.
and of course potential for high risk high reward, when you buff monster to a certain stage, so every rare mob could be a boss in the endendgame and explode in a big explosion.

ye there is one for multishot on helmet and body and i play currently with it, but for me it misses a overall +projectile except Unique Bows, which are also only for bow skills.
