Heartseeker Feels More Like a Spell — Suggestions for a More Archer-Like Identity

First off, I just want to say thank you for the amazing work on Last Epoch — I’m really enjoying the game, especially with the archer class.

I had a small suggestion regarding the Heartseeker skill and its visual behavior. Right now, it seems to stop or disappear when it reaches the cursor position, which can feel a bit off visually. In comparison, In Diablo IV, Heartseeker travels in a straight line toward the direction it’s fired — it only homes in on enemies if it sees them along its path while traveling. I think something similar could feel more natural and satisfying for a projectile-based skill, as it preserves the feeling of actually shooting an arrow rather than casting a spell directly at a target.

Additionally, when combining Heartseeker with elemental effects, the visuals sometimes feel more like a mage or spellcaster skill rather than something fired from a bow. I think it would feel more thematically consistent — and satisfying — if the effects retained a more “archer-like” identity, with elemental enhancements that still look like arrows or physical projectiles.

Just wanted to share some thoughts from someone who loves playing bow builds. Appreciate all the effort you’re putting into the game!
