Yesterday I was leveling a Necro on Hardcore and I logged in today and the character is no longer there. Any idea what happened or is it gone for good? I did not Rip, that much I am certain.

I’m sorry to hear this has happened.
Have your save files been saved on the Steam Cloud?
Unfortunately due to the nature of client based save files, we cannot recover files once they have been lost or corrupted. This will not be the case once we switch to Server-Side save files for multiplayer in patch 0.9, which is set to release later this year.
