Having ranks for trade ah is kinda stupid?

theres no reason to restrict people from using AH and make them grind for weeks apparently to unlock level 10 AH whats the point from this? you create problem for no reason and then provide solutions for it aswell when you could simply made AH avaible to everyone without restrictions so this doesnt really make any sense at all im only level 4 AH and im level 85 character

You don’t need rank 10 to trade buy everything.
Rank 8 is enough to make all items on your own.

The system is meant as a extension to character progression.
So you have progression beyond Character Level 100.

Also they did remove the restriction for selling, which is good.
But buying still needs the ranks, which I really do think is good design, because you need to actually play and work for your “loot” (buy items)

what is legendary item again? you unlock them from level 9-10 they arent the same as unique i take it but something different but anyay level 8 still takes efternity

With Rank 8 you can buy everything you need to make legendaries on your own.
So effectively you have access to all item rarities.

Legendary items are unique items with LP that have affixes added on them.

This more sounds like excuses for a bad system instead of it being actually worth doing

It’s part of the system balance, especially for cycles. If you could just buy everything right away, there would be no incentive to play CoF.

To me. That just sounds like a misunderstanding of player behavior. People will engage with both. Restricting them so unnecessarily would be the actual reason they don’t play one or another. Not because they both exist unrestricted if that makes sense.

In an attempt to ensure participation in a certain system. You actually cause the opposite effect.

CoF get better drop rates, but it’s still RNG. With an active enough market, MG will always get the BiS items for their build faster than CoF does. Especially idols.
