I remember watching a dev stream where Mike said that they have a lot of arch types that they would like to see added to the game that don’t really fit any of the existing classes.
A cool idea would be to incorporate the archtype as an Item Set. Having all items of the set give you a new skills with it’s own skill tree or, if development time allows, each item can give you access to a new skill with it’s tree but you need the full set to access the skill tree.
The items can still have LP so you can still slam them.
My idea is a bit more radical. The skills added by set items are unique to that Set Item, they don’t transform existing skills they add new ones on top of existing ones.
Those skills are thematically linked with the set items are not tied to any class or mastery
