I don’t assume it would be too hard but that would be a 105% refund chance, so is that “it always refunds 20% mana” or “it always refunds 20% mana with a chance to refund 40%”
Edit: After playing around with the LastEpochTools build planner, I was able to get 1256 mana with items that give +Flat Mana, +% Mana, and affixes with +Flat mana. No idols included. I also maxed the few nodes that gave +Mana in the Passive tree which only took 30 of your total passive points.
You’re making an assumption that they did not include this. You could be right, but you could also be wrong. These are not the full patch notes, that will come out in a few days and will tell us for sure if this has been included or not.
Prediction, in the Merchant Guild LP1 will be the new LP0, due to eggs. Eggs should be applicable to all LP levels but have a random chance to create a lower LP item than the one used. This way LP 1 will not be lower than LP 0. I mean its a great risk to use an lp2 item on an egg but an LP1 is not a big deal.
As a dad who works full time. This game is so easy to grind. Made it to COF 9 before stopping due to traveling. He just wants things handed to him which is bad for a majority of people who enjoy the game. Stay safe out there on the road!
I’m not sure if this is a misunderstanding or not as I’ve seen a few comments regarding the Egg invalidating LP hunt, so I just want to throw a confirmation out there:
Replacing an Egg with a 0LP unique and Empowering it does not guarantee adding LP, that is just one of the possible outcomes.
Hi guys,
I just want to say that appreciate all the updates and hard work you are putting into the game. Am excited to play the next cycle - so far so good, not commenting on any specific mechanics or updates to skills/passives etc until we see full patch notes but overall it looks very promising.
Just want to point out one thing to people complaining about grinding - in arpg’s like LE you will always have certain amount of grind to achieve certain goals, either it is your dreamed gear, rank or whatsoever. There is no need to get angry at anyone, if you don’t like the grind in end-game you just don’t have to do the grind and move on to create next character or enjoy other game until next cycle.
Am hoping to see new cosmetics in the shop at 9th! Want to buy some new ones
Loot filter really really needs an option to turn off sound for hidden items. It’s so annoying to constantly run back after clearing a pack because you heard a sound, only for it to 99% of the time be a filtered out item. Please fix that.
I have a problem with CoF prophecies, especially prophecies that require the elimination of listed enemies without specifying which map the enemy is on. I used to waste hours on this prophecy before I could find it and get rid of it. In the end, I gave up on this kind of prophecy and opted for a prophecy that said to defeat the boss on the map instead.
We have adressed that a while ago in a few CoF feedback discussions. There are some “easy” UI improvements imaginable for prophecies, similar to the search bar in the echo web. Maybe they simply haven’t been announced yet.
I guess it helps a little bit to declutter but without an MG-like dropdown for specific uniques it can actually imprint undesired behaviours where the player won’t mouseover uniques without LP and miss a really rare one which is helpful with or without LP.
The much requested LP filtering would be that a player can select particular uniques which they only want with LP1-4+, and then they can have a list of rare uniques which they’ll highlight in the same way regardless of their LP.
This is very important. A simple binary option of lp or no lp would accomplish maybe 10% of the intended effect.
First thing is having the advanced option of specifying how much lp. I would guess that I get more 1 lp than 0 lp uniques already.
And then there is your point, which I also adressed yesterday regarding the rarity of the specific unique. I wouldn’t need every unique by name, but the categories used in LET (common, uncommon, rare, extremely rare) would help a lot.
I would want rules like:
show all rare and extremely rare uniques
hide uncommon uniques without lp
hide common uniques <2 lp
There are 2 huge QoL change that should be applied to Loot Filter:
Let us have a special icon on the minimap/map when a filter item drops (Like have an extra option to have a specific icon for that specific item we are filtering, like we do in the stash for example)
Let us also choose a sound when that specific item drops (for 2 or 3 options of sounds avaiable)
Meteor Build seems it may be possible now or a classic fireball ignite build… People think that Sorc does not need help. We need to feel powerful enough like Runemaster, Runemaster just feels like a better Sorc right now… With the change of Ward easier to get early it just may be possible. Also the problem with Sorc is survivability. Runemaster just has better options for ward generation overall. we will see if the mana stacking passives are enough for defences.
Survivabilty is an issue for Sorc right now…
I know people really get triggered by nerfs but ask me, a wannabe hardcore player (500+hours). I had success only with Paladin and Falconeer because you just don’t have survivability, even ward generation is not possible if you go purely sorc and not just ignore the sorc tree and go full runemaster passives.
Last Epoch Hardcore is so much fun, but it is really scary to play any character without ward also a visual representation of when endurance threshold or endurance kicks in would be nice. For example, sound queues for different defensive passives for all classes or classes that don’t want to be depended by ward would be a great idea. It is just visually scary in combat to not see or hear defences kick in in hardcore mode. Also for offensive passives some sound queues would be nice too like fully stacked passives of some sort that give you both offensive and defensive bonuses…
Playing a ward stacker past seasons eliminates all worries of defences because you had a visual representation of defence=ward.
Now with melee classes we need more visual and sound queues in order to know when to engage or disengage in certain situations.
if you die it’s over.
Also all of these changes make the hardcore a better experience overall. Also it would be nice if Hardcore mode had achievements or something… the Game needs some achievement rewards to make it more dynamic.
Some POE people said it. Hardcore Last Epoch is the best Last Epoch mode (they said)
