With MP coming up, my group from PoE are probably going to be playing a lot more LE (at least I am), and I was thinking of seeing if some people were interested in joining our community. However I notice there is no guild recruitment section here on the forums, and come to think of it, I don’t remember seeing anything from EHG on the topic of guilds in general.
I realize we probably won’t see such functionality in 0.9, but are there any plans for in-game guild functionality at all? I can’t speak for every guild out there, but I’d be happy just to have a guild chat, and perhaps enough ranks/permissions to just handle simple needs like inviting new members, kicking members.
Also, perhaps consider creating a subforum for guilds and communities to advertise.
That’s expected, and honestly not a big deal. We mostly live in Discord anyway and since there won’t be shared stash functionality anyway with the coming CoF/MG system, in-game guilds would just be a neat little feature.
It still would be nice to have a subforum here for recruitment/advertising though.
Yeah, I know. Bit of a bummer but just happy to be playing with friends and having progress go towards standard (hopefully we won’t get a wipe between 0.9 and 1.0).
Yes that is the plan.
But EHG does reserve themselves the right to do a wipe, in case there are any major bugs or exploits happening between 0.9 and 1.0.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the main draw for seasons (an economy reset every X months as well as an opportunity for those who like it to start afresh).
Guilds in-game will be nice to have for manyt people, but I doubnt it will be a featurewe will see with Patch 0.9 or for that matter with Release Patch 1.0.
But later on I think it will totally come.
If I were myself a Developer for a game like/or this, I personally would not prioritize such a request as for how the game is as of the moment.
There are way more important things to do with this game before Guilds is even on the template of doing.
Guilds, and maybe a way to create SSF guild ladders(private leagues) similar to PoE would be really epic. That is honestly how i can play 2 months in a PoE ladder without that feature im done in a week on trade.
